Okay, listen, I get it. I wear glasses! You want me to shout it out to the whole world? Just because I wear them doesn?t mean I?m a nerd?or a geek.˜Just because I wear glasses doesn?t mean I spend all my time reading books and it most certainly does NOT mean I have no taste in music. I do NOT listen to classical music like an old person. And what could you know; I could be, like a music freak.

I have friends, by the way. And a Facebook, even if it shocks you?some of you. And just because I wear glasses does not mean I get straight A?s in my report card. Well, you know, that a petty wicked steroid type. (Pfft, and Asians always complain.) Though it does get irritating when people keep on asking the answers for the homework :/

I mean, I spent, like a hundred hours trying to understand the math homework. And you expect me to GIVE you the answers, GIVE?! I don?t think so.

Anyways, guys, get your facts right, seriously. If I get one more person asking me the answers to the homework, I will snap. I promise you.

Have you ever wondered how people with glasses felt about the steroid type of glasses? Here's your chance to find out, from a ....eh...Special Person.

I believe that people who wear glasses will relate to this. I used to wear em all the time. I found this more of a shout out, you were telling people that they shouldn't sterio type you. I smiled, it made a good point. but it didn't come off as a comey monologue. You're doing great! I'm just trying to tell you, don't try to hard or it won't come off to other people as funny. be yourself and let your inner comedian take control :) I wish you the best as you keep posting and writing. Good job! Keep laughing, All my love, skyler.

it's a good monologue. good job. however, there is one little thing about it that I don't get. the character seems like a women who feels people who stereotype have no clue what actually IS. now that being said, the character is stereotyping herself when she says "I don't listen to classical like an old person"...that's stereotyping. my grandparents listen to Elvis Presley, which is rock. maybe some other OLD people listen to heavy metal, which could explain their hearing aids. but really good job and keep writing.

Hi, I love this monologue and think it raises/shows how people make stereotypes daily about things they've picked up from gossip. I would really like to use this monologue for my Drama Prac and school? What is the name of character speaking?
