So I'm driving down the road one day when I run up on a recent accident, being from Red Cross I exit my car to see if I can offer any assistance seems how ther was only one patrol car at the scene. The car had ran over a steep bank and had thrown one guy about 30" away from the car while the driver had exited thru the windshield and was lying on the hood of the car. I looked and the cop was just setting there writing in his little black book. I said " what's going on shouldn't you be helping the guys they look hurt". " soon as I finish writing out these tickets". "Tickets?" I said" "yeah, that fellow that's laying on the hood, I'm writing him up for breaking and entering, and that other guy over there I'm writing him up for leaving the scene of an accident!!!"
